When you, as a wheelchair user, want to drive independently or ride along as a passenger on the first row, Tripod Mobility has the perfect solution for you.
Lowering the floor creates more interieur space. The lowered floor does not hamper maneuverability meaning speed bumps are no issue. Thanks to the lowered floor most wheelchairs can easily access the vehicle and settle behind the wheel. Up front there is even space for two wheelchairs side by side.
The original front seats are made removeable by mounting them on a frame with transport wheels. So when someone else want to drive they are easily replaced and secured.
Which solutions one needs to help operate the vehicle are dependent on local rules, regulations and availability. What is necessary in your situation needs to looked at carefully. Solutions like hand brake and gas or multifunctional steer operation are not included in an UpFront. Your local conversion specialist will be happy to help.
