Do you want to make an impact within a technical, fast-growing organization? At Tripod Mobility, we are looking for a Technical Buyer who gets energy from liaising with suppliers, optimizing processes and improving the supply chain.

Your Role

As a Technical Buyer, you are the pivot in the purchasing process at Tripod Mobility. You ensure that everything needed for our production is available on time, at the right price and quality.

In addition, you maintain contact with suppliers, keep stock levels up to date and play a key role in optimizing our internal logistics.

What will you do?

  • Manage the entire purchasing process and ensure products are available on time
  • Maintain contact with suppliers, request and evaluate quotations
  • Compare quotations and make the best supplier choice
  • Perform supplier evaluations and proactively resolve deviations
  • Contribute ideas about, and contribute to the purchasing policy
  • Work closely with all other departments
  • Monitor optimal stock levels and availability of raw materials
  • Manage and optimize article data in the ERP system
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings

Your Profile

You are someone who maintains overview, sees opportunities and likes to take responsibility.

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • Experience as a buyer is a strong advantage
  • Technical insight and able to read drawings
  • Strong analytical and numerical insight
  • Commercially minded and cost-conscious
  • Proactive and solution-oriented
  • Affinity with technology and preferably the metal industry
  • Accurate, independent and flexible
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
  • Good command of Dutch and English (German is an advantage)
